Redmond's ADU code allows 1,000 sq ft DADUs on most lots. We built 720 sq ft to keep the budget under $260k while still delivering a full one-bedroom layout.

Permits took 7 weeks. We used the same cedar-rain-screen and metal-roof package as our Bellevue and Issaquah builds for cost predictability.

Leased to a Microsoft engineer at $2,500/mo on a 2-year lease before substantial completion.
